At JVM Castings, we have recently appointed two new Managing Directors to help us drive sustainable growth across the business. Ken Parker and Branislav Antal join our Worcester and Tamworth sites as Joint Managing Director.
Their appointment has come after a period of expansion and diversification beyond the automotive sector into new markets such as construction.
Wayne Murcott, Group Director, said: “While there have undoubtedly been some challenges for UK manufacturing since the Brexit vote, a weaker currency may lead to more production being re-shored back in the UK and we need to be responsive to these opportunities."
“Over the past few years, we’ve gone through a period of careful growth and expansion into new sectors, and the appointment of two new Managing Directors to head up operations and drive growth at each of our facilities will strengthen our future position.”
Ken Parker became Joint Managing Director of JVM Castings’ Tamworth operation in February, having been promoted from his previous role as Operations Director with the firm. He has worked in the automotive sector since 1983 when he joined Jaguar Cars; after working internationally, he settled back in the Midlands to begin an illustrious career with JVM.
Branislav Antal was promoted to Joint Managing Director of the firm’s Worcester operation at the same time, after initially joining JVM Castings in September 2008. His time with the company has seen Bran rise through the ranks, from Project Engineer to Quality Manager to Quality Director and subsequently Manufacturing Director.
Bran has been working in high pressure diecasting since 2005 when he joined Lllemi Slovakia as a Project Manager. Close cooperation with automotive customers throughout Europe gave him a strong foundation for understanding all aspects of manufacturing.
