On 31 March 2019, JVM Castings Ltd will cease production operations at their Tamworth production site, in order to consolidate operations and invest in the opportunity for growth offered at their larger premises in Worcester. All head office, production and R&D operations currently at Tamworth will be transferred to the Worcester site at the end of March 2019. JVM Castings are involving employee representatives in this process and will be providing support for all employees at the Tamworth site.

St Giles Hospice are a registered charity that relies on donations from the public to continue providing high-quality medical and nursing care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses.

Our people are at the heart of what we do, they are the most important part of our operation. As part of our commitment to them we actively pursue community engagements within the Tamworth and Worcester regions in which they work and live.

As part of our work within the community we have recently sponsored the Novice Chase at Worcester Racecourse. Worcester Racecourse is one of the oldest racecourses in Britain and holds a range of key races including the Worcester Stakes and the Gold Cup.

We have recently completed a major investment of over £1million into our Tamworth plant. This investment is part of our on-going growth plan and will see the machining side of the site double in size by 2020. Our investment in machinery will see the installation of 10 additional spindles as well as the planned purchase of a large 5 bed axis machine.

JVM Castings have appointed Bob Freeman as our new Group Sales Manager to help us meet and exceed our growth targets over the next few years.

Bob brings with him 32 years of experience in the castings and automotive industries, most recently with Sales & Purchase Management roles at King Automotive Systems Ltd and Sarginsons Industries Plc.

His background in aluminium castings for the automotive, construction and civil engineering sectors made him a natural choice for JVM Castings.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility we are working with local charities across the Midlands to help them continue the essential work that they do. 

We have given £10,000 to Fisher House, run by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, in a sponsorship deal which has seen The Worcester Room named in our honour.

JVM Castings help to raise funds for St Giles Hospice

Wayne Murcott, Managing Director of JVM Castings the Tamworth and Worcester-based diecasting firm has been instrumental in reforming the St Giles Hospice cricket team and organising a charity cricket event to raise much-needed funds for St Giles Hospice in Whittington.

Originally the St Giles Hospice cricket team played regularly to raise valuable funds with the first ever cricket match involving the team taking place in May 1991. However the team had to disband in 1999 due to family commitments but they have recently reformed in 2014 to continue fundraising again.

Our Golden Celebration of JVM’s 50-year Association with Jaguar Land Rover

As one of their longest-serving suppliers, we are proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our association with Jaguar Land Rover.

To mark the occasion, we have commissioned a unique golden memento featuring the iconic leaping Jaguar and presented it to Purchasing Director, Ian Harnett, at Jaguar Land Rover’s Whitley headquarters.
