JVM appoint Group Sales Manager to help shape our growth in new markets
11th February 2016
JVM Castings have appointed Bob Freeman as our new Group Sales Manager to help us meet and exceed our growth targets over the next few years.
Bob brings with him 32 years of experience in the castings and automotive industries, most recently with Sales & Purchase Management roles at King Automotive Systems Ltd and Sarginsons Industries Plc.
His background in aluminium castings for the automotive, construction and civil engineering sectors made him a natural choice for JVM Castings.
As Group Sales Manager at JVM, Bob will be responsible for enhancing the development of the company throughout its existing customer base, ensuring current clients receive the maximum value and support as well as seeking opportunities across new markets.
Bob said “My focus is on making sure we support the needs of all our customers and promoting the range of high tech solutions we can offer, and I’m very much looking forward to helping JVM Castings meet their goals for 2016 and beyond.”
Although he has only just joined the company, Bob established a relationship with JVM Castings while working as a Supervisory MP&L at Jaguar Cars in Coventry. Prior to that his father had also worked with previous generations of JVM's owners, both as a buyer and a supplier.
The strong family values that we instil in all our employees were one of the many factors that appealed to Bob in taking on his new role and helping shape the company's growth over the next few years.
“It seemed like a very natural progression for me to join the company since we’ve been in contact for over two decades, so I’m fully versed in their business, either directly with them as a supplier to me or vice versa,” says Bob. “My focus is on making sure we support the needs of all our customers and promoting the range of high tech solutions we can offer, and I’m very much looking forward to helping JVM Castings meet their goals for 2016 and beyond.”
